I rode my bike to midtown to go to a friend’s play reading between thunderstorms. I hung out at Rudy’s (did not have a hot dog) and at the Telephone Bar. In the photo above, you see a public lobby downtown and when I walked through it there were homeless guys shacked up in the corners and a couple of them were watching infomercials on a portable black and white TV at the tables. Ok, this must’ve been before the digital switch. I asked if I could take their picture and they said no. Bluegrass pix later today, I promise.
