What can you say about the food sold at the 99¢ store? They got my 99¢, I got some food that tastes different, and the big guys with the obnoxious website did not get my $3.99. These are the same guys voraciously taking over the packaged organic food industry.

There is a 99 cent store in my neighborhood, too. They come complete with recession special peanut butter (inclusive of the jelly swirls) and a mercenary out front who will beat your ass if you try to pull an outer-borough Winona.
Overall, it is infinitely preferable to the pretensions of sushi platters at Whole Foods.
