I haven't looked at it in a while but I'll give it another look. They probably don't need to use bizarre filler anymore.

I am so pleased to get news delivered in such an adult manner. I feel cheated if I don't watch World Focus at 6 PM every week night. No silly, joking delivery from overpaid, fast talking "entertainers" to tolerate. Channels 2,4,5,7 should hire news readers instead of the people they have.

Any new "news" program in this day and political climate should be viewed with a healthy dose of skepticism.

It would be interesting to perform a linguistic/word analysis upon the WF transcripts to date, potential use of neurolinguistic priming, etc. as well as image analysis/juxtaposition.

Nov. 5th
Savidge describing the election of the "son of a muslim" Barack Obama, by "tens of millions of white Christian men"

Savidge speaks with correspondent "Gideon Rose"

Nov. 6th
taped report (that looks alot like a VNR) going into a surprising amount of detail about pentacostal churches in Brazil

mention of Barack Obama, then immediate story about (Asian) foreigners, juxtasaposed
